Hi all, trying to get the car running well before it gets too cold to drive. I checked everything. I put new spark plug wires on, new rotor and cap, and new spark plugs and it still cuts out at high rpms. I have a 2005 PT GT dream cruiser edition 4, today i was cruisin along at a normal speed and all of a sudden it started bucking and sputtering (this being the misfiring im told) so i pull over and turn it off. I was sitting in the garage with the car running thinking over my exhaust problem and decided to rev the engine up near the redline to see how it handled it. Discuss car sputtering and cutting out at 2500 rpm in the rec.
